We took it to the street and asked the public!

To name the school we came up with an original idea:
we thought that the students and their parents are the
real stars of the school, nobody but them could
choose the name. We put the vote to the masses. We
installed a giant cube in Lorca city centre where
people could vote and created an online platform
where the whole world could exercise their right to
vote.

In the 3 months that voting was open, more
than 3000 people gave their preference of one of
three proposed names. The chosen name was Valle
del Guadalentín School with 62.60% of the votes
ahead of St. Patrick’s School with 24.20% and finally
Sutullena School with 13.20%
